■ Defining the settings
On the
Settings
screen, you can select the distance unit, speed unit, and altitude
unit that are used in the GPS application. You can also set the backlight.
You can select from the following distance and speed units:
Metric
(kilometres
and metres),
Imperial
(miles and yards),
Nautical
(nautical miles and yards).
You can select from the following altitude units:
Metres
,
Feet
.
You can set the backlight on until the application is closed or to be automatically
switched off after 15 seconds. Note that the backlight consumes battery power.
